Day #2: Import Companies

So today is Day #2 of my crazy adventure to building a five million dollar empire before I am 23. My day was spent in meetings after meetings with Brazilian import companies and the rest of the day with Mike, the COO of OZERO International. For those who don’t already know what OZERO International is, it is an international investment company focuses on various forms of finance and trade, such as import/export, holdings, private equity and venture capital. Sounds big and glorious, but everything is at the start-up level and is on a path of, hopefully, immense growth over the next year in a half. We are currently working on U.S. product exportations to Brazil under some very unique methodologies and framework that we have created that will hopefully give us a very advantageous edge in the booming Brazilian economy. Hopefully.

So with that said, back to my crazy day with these Brazilian import companies. Unfortunately, nothing extremely interesting happened. Just a lot of talking and discussing, more talking, more discussing. It is taking a lot of effort to convince these import companies to go with our approach and framework, but we are working hard at it. One thing I have learned today and that is to make sure, before you jump into a particular discussion with a potential partner (or client, vendor, etc.) to make sure that your partners are on the same page. You may think you are all in the proper ball park, but trust me, even the slightest offset in an idea can turn into some heavy confusion. As they say in diving, you miss by an inch, you miss by a mile.

On the ArisTech Media front, we just secured Calvary Chapel Outreach as a new client (we have done consulting for them over the years). We will be providing them a very large range of media services across their entire 1,000+ independent churches and networks that span over 150 countries. You can read the official press release here. Nevertheless, with this project under ways, we are discussing moving ArisTech Media into a company purely focused on media development, or digital media would be the more official focus and then spin off another company which we won’t mention the name at this moment that would focus on the innovation consulting, design, creative strategy, film, photography, etc. for our large clients such as Hurley, Republican Party, Calvary Chapel, Stonecroft, RHC, etc. It will be very design focused through creativity and strategy. I have been developing some unique methodologies and ideologies for a new level of innovation consulting and idea development that focuses heavily on a design focused combination of creativity and strategy. I won’t get into it now, but it is something that should develop into something quite engaging, especially since we have some new clients on the horizon that we hope to work with.

On the Verivex Network end, we are currently finishing up the documentation for the vision of the magazine and the interviews that will be incorporated. We are still looking at building a Verivex Team that wants to engage in this new ‘underground’ magazine for youth by youth. Got some local Orange County kids who currently run a magazine in our sights, so it will be cool to see how that all pans out.

That is currently what is on my plate, minus a few other things like MindHaven and MinistryGuide.org, but we will leave that out for now. I’m back to work, then hitting the wrestling ring with the guys tonight to loosen up my energy for another long night.
