The Everyday Story Of My Life.

BlackBerry or Blackberry?

Something funny, and, in all honesty, quite unusual, just happened to me. One of my neighbors came over to my house, asking if I would be able to help her dig out some of her old plants and create some new holes for her new plants. Of course, I agreed. She then went on explaining her plants. She stated, “I have a blackberry, three of them actually, but they didn’t work, which is why I am thinking about disposing of them.” This is where the ironic part comes in. As she began explaining how her blackberries weren’t working, I was thinking all this time that she was talking about the BlackBerry phone. For about 40 whole seconds, I was awaiting the chance to offer my services in helping her fix her BlackBerries and, wishfully thinking, about how nice it would be of her to let poor little Seany have one. However, somewhere around the 41 second mark, it finally clicked in my mind that she was talking about her plants (obviously) and how her blackberry plants weren’t working out and thus required my assistance in disposing of them. All in all, it just goes to show you how the technology realm has brainwashed my mind to the limits of comprehending basic fruits. I can see it now, “Sean would you like an Apple?”

Smooth move, exlax. I’m not quite sure why I find this surprising behaviour for you; after all this time, one would think I would be expecting it.

It really does do a good job of illustrating the influence that “pop culture” has over even our most primitive of behavioural traits. It’s on the same level as celebrity stereotyping – “Hey, you look just like _____ !” Obnoxious.

    What do I think?….

….I think you have a typo: “All in all, in just shows you how the technology realm ” I think you meant “it”. “IT just shows you how…” *laughs*

Now that I’m done bashing your spelling, I have to say that I found this quite a humorous post. I enjoyed in. I mean “it” :D
